ALGEBRA 1 IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THIS CLASS! This class will integrate Algebra as we explore shapes, patterns and illusions. We will explore logical thinking, applying Euclidean geometry to evaluate hypotheses. Wait til you hear the joke about the chicken and the Mobius strip. We will also be using video and manipulatives to help you "see" the math. You will begin to see how geometry is all over the world around you! There will be an online recitation session offered weekly via Google Meet. The time will be established within the first two weeks of class so we can accommodate everyone.

Students will read various literature texts from a Christian perspective to gain a deeper understanding of the past and apply it to their present and future actions, reflecting the Christian values of faith, love, and service. This strengthens the foundation of the Christian faith by discerning the "hand of God" in history. Students will read, interpret, and respond to various texts. Textbook: Various texts from ancient history (designed to complement history class but may be taken as a stand-alone class). List is attached in materials.
